With over two decades of experience, Daniel MacKinnon is a seasoned creative director recognized for building and elevating some of the most iconic media and retail brands across the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle sectors. He is currently the Creative Director at Indochino, where he leads brand vision and creative strategy with a sharp focus on innovation, cohesion, and storytelling.

Daniel honed his design sensibility through key roles at Toronto Life, FASHION, Chatelaine, GLOW, and House & Home, as well as serving as Senior Art Director at Hudson’s Bay. His client portfolio spans both U.S. and Canadian markets, including industry leaders such as Procter & Gamble, The Home Depot, EXPO Design Center, Sears, L’Oréal, and Shoppers Drug Mart.

A skilled brand builder, Daniel combines creative direction with a strategic mindset—bringing campaigns to life across platforms including print, video, web, and mobile. He is also highly experienced in producing international photo shoots and directing celebrity talent.

Respected for his calm yet passionate leadership style, Daniel has cultivated a wide network of editors, photographers, stylists, and designers, mentoring and inspiring creative teams throughout his career. His work has earned him prestigious accolades including two Ozzie Awards and a National Magazine Award, and he has been honoured to serve multiple times as a judge for the National Magazine Awards.
